Music composition for every conceivable type of music is my absolute driving passion. I like the way every sound has a formulae’ that prescribes what it will consist of, that when heard says to the listener ‘Oh that’s Jazz’, or ‘ I love how that Baroque music just flows and flows’. From what comes before, allows music to grow and reinvent itself. No matter where your skill set lies, one thing is for certain that, from the basic fundamentals you can immediately start writing your own music, it’s an original already! For me, making music is all about building, layer upon layer like a painter’s canvas. First, lay down that rhythm section of bass and percussion, build upon that with rich harmonies and finally get that ‘Hook’ with melodies and counter melodies all combined with classic tension and release.

I like music that is real and has soul, therefore when I do record in the studio, I try to keep most of the recordings raw with some added effects to keep things real. When it comes to writing music, I write music that sets the mood, some exciting for motivation yet some relaxing.Sometimes ideas come out of thin air. Inspirations can come from stories from the media such as newspapers, TV and radio, it can come from doing activities such as walking, jogging, doing house chores or assignments and seeing action from sports or movies. Overall I want to send important messages to the public as well as getting my audience to enjoy the music.

I design typography and 2D graphics for surfaces and other physical applications. I design for myself and for others based on the gaps I perceive in the market rather than following current popular trends. Despite this, I am inspired by pop culture and the different environments I encounter in day-to-day life. The work that I design is often patterned, humorous or informative with the aim for my work to be both fun and functional, whether it is something to wear, display or furnish a space with.

I’m a fashion photographer who equally loves the process of planning and styling a shoot just as much as the actual photographing itself. My enthusiasm and knowledge in fashion speaks loud throughout my photos. I am inspired everyday by fashion editorials and always set a bar for my images to look like they could belong in the pages of a magazine. As an extension of my combined love for fashion and photography, I create garments from digitally printed fabric where my own images lay across the material.

Graphic design is more than a job; it’s a way of life. As a graphic designer I see the world with a little more attention to detail, and even the simplest of designs bring my senses to life. My focus is in print media, producing work in a simplistic, direct and inviting way. In design, as in all aspects of life, change is the only constant and learning will never come to an end. The work of which I create is unlike any other; I employ elements of old and new with a hint of drama. I am a Photographer and Graphic Designer and I love finding new ways to intertwine these creative facets in all of my art. I aspire to be a beauty and portrait photographer but I also wish to travel the world, capturing picturesque and dramatic photographs of people, places and essentially everything that makes up the world around us. I create 2D digital artwork combining photography and traditional art mediums. The works are semi-surrealist in appearance due to my liberal and deliberate use of colour. My physical art serves as a basic framework that is then digitally reformed into the final piece. Once in my medium blender I experiment with colour, patterns and textures. Then I refine them adapting traditional techniques digitally. The drives behind my work are exploring the themes of the Neo Gothic and using colour to show the true nature/aura/personality of the subject. It’s about the “feel” of a thing, not its face up appearance.
