ALLEGRA CASELLA

I create 2D digital artwork combining photography and traditional art mediums. The works are semi-surrealist in appearance due to my liberal and deliberate use of colour. My physical art serves as a basic framework that is then digitally reformed into the final piece. Once in my medium blender I experiment with colour, patterns and textures. Then I refine them adapting traditional techniques digitally. The drives behind my work are exploring the themes of the Neo Gothic and using colour to show the true nature/aura/personality of the subject. It’s about the “feel” of a thing, not its face up appearance.

JASMINE MARTIN

I am a varied artist, with my artistic inquiry mainly incorporating women and nature. My work demonstrates an art nouveau-inspired vision which weaves illustrative and expressive line work in a unique style. With intricate line work my drawings show a clear influence of MUCHA and notable contemporary artists Gustav KLIMT and Egon SCHIELE. I am passionate about animal rights and this reflects in my work; it is my ambition now to present to the public a utopian and enlightened viewpoint where the balance of humanity and nature is equal and harmonious.

CHRISTOPHER OATS

As an artist I specialise in the design and development of characters, environments and animation, and am personally enthralled in the world of storytelling. The style that I prefer to normally produce my work in is a hybrid combination of East and Western influences and styles that alternatively draw inspiration from modern contemporary and minimalistic art and animation. Like all things though, nothing stays the same for long. “Experiment and be different… Never stick with one idea for too long and always write them down…”

REBECCA PARISI

I create illustrations, paintings, print-making and artist books. The materials I use vary for each artwork. I do not have a specific genre but subconsciously my work relates to ‘landscape’. I am inspired by the natural and urban environment. I grew up in a beach community where the environment is a beautiful place. These environments have a lasting impact on my life. I create work for family, friends and myself. When I am an art teacher I can showcase my work and experiments to students to guide them to become artists.

CARLY SHEIL

I am an artist/illustrator that works with digital and mixed media paintings. The scenes within my art are often macabre and bloody: containing women, monsters or some form of physical ailment. I am inspired by many illustrators within the music and video game industries, the art of dark fantasy painter Brom, the horror writings of H.P. Lovecraft and the controversial films of Jörg Buttgereit. My paintings are created with a combination of Adobe
Photoshop, Corel Painter, and a wide range of weird traditional mediums. Their fine-lined details separate focal-points from the surrounding chaos of movement, mess and gore.

BRITTANY WEBSTER

I make monsters, whether they mean well or not you get to choose. I am a visual artist who loves working with my hands. I enjoy giving found objects new life as part of my sculptures. I like to explore conflicting features such as delicate marionette structures brandishing noxious claws, scales or bones. My great muse is the natural environment that provides me with both the materials I need and all the inspiration I could ask for. I like the fact that our world still holds creatures stranger than anything even I can imagine.

SACHA WOHLFAHRT

My creative practice involves many different mediums, processes, and concepts including Visual Fine Art, Installation Sculpture Art, and Fashion Design and manufacture. Each avenue of artistic creation has different underlying themes that are used to explore concepts and deliver messages.I enjoy making constructed traditional drawings, which capture an exact moment using highly scrutinising mimetic mark-making techniques. The creative process behind all of my artworks involves careful measuring, analysing and layering techniques and concepts.I Iam strongly motivated in my artworks by inanimate objects, emotions and worldly obscurities.
